The 2026 Salute to America runs July 2-5. Each year the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the Henry Ford Museum present Salute to America at Greenfield Village.

Start the evening by exploring Greenfield Village’s historical districts. There will be food trucks on Main Street, music of the historic carousel, presenters in period clothing strolling the streets, and performance ensembles tucked in every corner. Across the 7 historic districts, you’ll here the American soundtrack unfold from choral singing and ragtime to Motown, blues, and jazz.

The event will conclude at dusk with the full DSO on the main stage featuring orchestral music and selections to honor America’s 250th anniversary before concluding with the 1812 overture, canon fire, and a fireworks finale.

Greenfield Village hosted us in 2019 and it was a spectacular show…even though it rained for most of the night. At the time, the concert was in Walnut Grove and there were no strolling ensembles.

Salute to America Tickets

Ticket Prices range from $31.50-$38.25/members and $38.25-$45/non-members. Youth (ages 5-11) receive a 25% discount. Seniors (62+) receive a 10% discount. There is a $10/vehicle parking fee for non-members that is typically charged per ticket purchasing group.
