Event Description

The City of Ann Arbor is working with Comprenew to host a household electronics takeback event!

Limited space is available. Register to drop off your electronics (registration opens 5/16). Location is still to be announced (as of March 11 when we added the event).

The following items are FREE for attendees to bring to the event:

  • Dekstop and Laptop Computers
  • Tablets and eReaders
  • Phones (landline and cellular)
  • Keyboards and mice
  • Cords/cables/wires
  • Networking equipment
  • One home printer/copier/scanner (small inkjet and laser up to 35 lb)
  • One television or monitor up to 60 lb (approximately the size of a 60″ flat screen TV or a 20″ tube TV/monitor)
  • Audio/visual equipment

    The following items will be accepted for an additional charge. Please bring a debit or credit card if you will be bringing these items.

  • Additional & oversized televisions and monitors ($10)
  • Additional & oversized printers/copiers/scanners (will NOT accept floor models)($10)
  • UPS power supplies ($10)

There will be additional dates in 2026 with details to be announced closer to the event:

  • April 25 – Ann Arbor Community Reform Church – registration required
  • June 6 – registration required
  • August 8 – registration required
  • October 24 – registration required
  • December 14 until full (or January 5)- no registration. Items of limited size
