DESCRIPTION:\nLocal artist Carol Morris who will give a presentation on the
  process of creating altered books as well help you create your own.  \n\
 n\n\nAltered books is an art form where discarded books are turned into ar
 t objects by painting\, collaging\, cutting\, and tearing.  Artists can c
 hoose themes or one may emerge while doing the process.  \n\n\n\nPlease b
 ring a book to alter (hard-bounds are best) however some discarded books w
 ill be available at the workshop if needed. Also bring any personal photos
 \, images\, fragments that can embellish your book. Art supplies will be a
 vailable at the workshop such as water colors\, pens\, glue sticks\, and s
 cissors.\n\n\n\nRegistration is Required. For teens &amp\; adults\n
