Hazardous Air Quality Alert – What’s Affected in Ann Arbor

The Ann Arbor Air Quality was at a Hazardous level throughout Thursday into Friday morning. As of Friday afternoon, it had droped ino the Very Unhealthy range. It is forecast to be elevated through Saturday.

We always joke about Art Fair weather being hot and stormy. While the temperatures aren’t horrible this year, the air quality is. I briefly went outside and said it’s like being in a smoky bar room. I had plans to go to Art Fair on Thursday morning, but decided against it.

With the hazardous and unhealthy air conditions, we have seen several announcements of closures and modified operations for outdoor activities. We started the article with Thursday closures, added Friday closures, and are now adding announcemets for Saturday, July 18.
