Natural Areas Steward and resident Massasauga expert Steven Parrish will lead a guided walk along trails that encompass Massasauga habitat. Learn why these shy, somewhat reclusive snakes love Matthaei and how land stewardship provides for many of the needs of this iconic Michigan species and the plant and animals species on which they depend. Closed toe shoes are required for the hike.

Note: This hike is not listed as family friendly so we are setting the age older.
